In the Exams tab, you can create a new order for End of Rotation™ exams and PACKRAT® exams, End of Curriculum™ exams, and Student Exam Boxes. Any End of Rotation exams you purchase may be assigned to any specialty rotation – if you wish to give a class of 20 students all seven exams, purchase 140 exams and schedule them as needed.
The next screen is Payment. You can pay by entering the credit card information into the secure form. This method will allow for release of your exams for scheduling immediately upon processing.
You may also pay by purchase order, check, or money order.
- For purchase orders, enter the number in the first box on the screen. Then, email a copy of your purchase order to exams@PAEAonline.org. This will allow PAEA to release the exams for scheduling while waiting for the check to arrive.
- If releasing the exams is not urgent, you may indicate that you will pay by check or money order, then mail the check or money order to PAEA at the following address:

After placing the order, you can download the invoice from the Order History tab on the right side of the screen. This tab will show only pending orders by default. If you’ll be sending a check or money order, those orders will be listed once PAEA receives the payment. The Status column will indicate Pending or Released (if exams have been released but payment has not been received). You can download the invoice by clicking Invoice in the far-right column of this screen. A pop-up message will appear, which you can print. If you paid via credit card, but need the invoice for reimbursement or documentation, just uncheck the Only Pending Orders box in the top-right area and adjust the date range as needed.
If your institution allows electronic payment (e.g., ACH deposit or electronic funds transfer), contact exams@PAEAonline.org to start the conversation to transmit the necessary information. If your institution has a form to establish this relationship, send it in the initial message. To place an order using this method, follow the instructions for an order paying by Check or Money Order. PAEA requests that the program name and invoice number be included in the payment memo. That will help with tracking.
