The invigilation pack is an important resource to have for In Person and Remote Proctored exams. The information can be printed as a hard copy or downloaded as a .pdf file. In the case of Remote Proctored exams, this is the information the program needs to provide to the 3rd party remote proctoring service who are monitoring the students. The 3rd party remote proctoring service will need to provide the PINs to the students to begin their exams.
For In Person exams, having the list of PINs on hand can be useful in case of any exam startup issues. The starting procedure for an exam is locked in when the student downloads their test. Thus, in cases where a student has entered their keycode before the PIN is removed, the system will ask for the PIN whether or not it has been removed on the Monitor Exam screen. Having the PINs from the invigilation pack will ensure that the student can enter their exam with minimal delay.
The invigilation pack can be printed or downloaded as early as 7 days before the exam event, once the exam information populates on the Monitor Exams screen in the Exam Delivery Platform. To print the pack, you will need to select only the students for one exam type, start date/time, and delivery type at a time. For example, if you have some students taking a General Surgery End of Rotation In Person, while others are taking it the same day but Remote Proctored, you should only select those with In Person exams and then click Print Invigilation Pack. Next, clear your selections and choose the students for the Remote Proctored exam, and click Print Invigilation Pack.
